Pan Care: Pre-seasoned and ready to use. Just follow the simple cleaning instructions on the included instruction tag prior to initial use. After use, cleaning is also simple. Just hot water, preferably while the Dutch oven is still warm. Detergent need not and should not be used as it will remove the seasoning. Dry throughly and store. Comes with an instruction tag.
