An alternative to traditional non-stick cookware, all LloydPans stovetop cookware have Dura-Kote water-based finish manufactured without PTFE, PFOA, fluoropolymers, or any other toxic chemicals. These eco-friendly coatings are permanently bonded and guaranteed never to chip, peel, or flake off. They are metal-utensil safe and even metal spatula recommended. Oil is kept to a minimum. Constructed of hard anodized aluminum with Dura-Kote proprietary coatings, the sauté pan is heat safe to 700°F.
Cooking in LloydPans cookware is similar in technique to cooking in stainless steel cookware. Use a lower heat setting, let your pan heat up before cooking, cook a somewhat longer time and enjoy the results. Dura-Kote cooks hotter than normal pans. Using 50% lower heat avoids sticking and burning. Experiment with your stovetop. Not induction compatible.
Cleans easily and thoroughly with hand washing. Do not use in dishwasher. The caustic chemicals in dishwasher detergent will damage the surface of pans and void the Warranty.
